Land and Town

In the Metatun world, multiple towns are planned for different projects as they develop, each with its own unique name consisting up to thousands of land parcels with different plot sizes. Using a Metatun NFT, players can claim land inside the town to construct a home at a later stage.

Home Construction Process

Step 1: claim/purchase land

Each plot of land requires a Metatun NFT with a corresponding rarity to purchase it.

Plot Size and Rarity:

Common Land (grey signpost): 1x1 plot size, which allows for the construction of normal-sized houses.

Rare Land (blue signpost): 1x2 plot size, where two-storey houses can be built on.

Epic Land (purple signpost): 3x3 plot size, for building larger cottages.

Legendary Land (orange signpost): 6x6 plot size, which is reserved for an amazingly huge castle.

Note that once a land is bound to a Metatun, players will never be able to unbind, and the only way to transfer land is to transfer the Metatun NFT that the player holds. So players should carefully decide on the piece of land they intend to purchase.

Step 2: construction and personalization of houses/castles

Building houses/castles requires the use of resources and blueprints obtained in the adventure mode.

Currently there are two different sets of houses/castles for each rarity level that can be built, and players need to obtain their corresponding blueprints found in the adventure field.

Once a house/castle is built based on a particular blueprint, players cannot demolish and rebuild another house/castle on the same land even if they acquire another set of blueprint of the same rarity. It is worth mentioning that once built, the appearance of a house/castle can only be modified by a Metatun Homes NFT in future.

Functions of Houses/Castles

After Metatun Homes NFT mint program starts, the appearances of houses/castles can be modified to display different styles and provide additional functions in the game such as generating passive income as part of the Play-to-Earn game mechanics. There is also a plan to turn the houses/castles into art galleries to display third-party NFT arts owned by players in the future.
