Welcome to the Metatun Multiverse!

Metatun Game is a real-time role-playing game built on Roblox that revolves around a randomly generated baby character, called 'Metatun' (NFT). Each player takes on the role of an unique Metatun and goes on an adventure with pets and weapons to collect materials and treasures to rebuild its home.

Our Vision

As game developers, Metatun is the first digital game world we are building using blockchain technology, and we are excited to co-build it with our community of players! Gaming using NFTs as characters and items is an emerging industry in continuous evolution. We are constantly learning and improving how we build fun-engaging games using this economic model. Our goal is to embrace the core fundamentals of player ownership entering this space as pioneer developers.

We want to build an open and collaborative meta-universe platform supporting third-party NFTs and character model usage in the game (we have several different collaborative phases, and as the work progresses, third-party projects will have greater freedom and access without being limited by platforms), by uniting individual NFT projects to form a larger game meta-universe.

Background Story and Concept

IT ALL BEGAN ON DECEMBER 21, 2021. In the VE-42 parallel universe 🌌, the end of the world came unexpected 💥 and overnight, almost all humans and cities disappeared. The few survivors found themselves turned into babies👶🏻. In order to survive and find the truth about what happened, the babies after finding each other built makeshift cities, picked up weapons and started to explore this terrorific new world. "Hey, newfound baby, grab a weapon, we need your help!" ⚔️

Metatun is an original concept inspired by a story of Michael Faraday's response to a haughty noblewoman who questioned "of what use" was his dynamo prototype that produced electricity - "of what use is a newborn baby, madam?" . Blockchain technology and NFTs exists in a similar way for the dominant minds of this world. With Metatun, we hope more people will understand the value of these technologies beyond hype, developing along with it to build knowledge around this concept.
